Amazing that you held this as the poll for this week. We just completed our maiden voyage in our new motor home after retiring. Part of our 5 weeks of travel took us through Oklahoma during the recent spate of tornadoes. We were just getting accustomed to traveling in the coach when we were awakened by sirens at just before daybreak. Blankets, pillows, robes, and the dog all went to a concrete block shower building as we watched a tornado travel across the lake we were parked next to. I am a lover of water and made the decision to set up right on the water's edge even though my better half disagreed. From now on, I listen to her! Peeking out of a shower room door every few minutes to be sure you "home" hasn't blown away is no fun, especially for us "newbies".

Posted by Peggi McDonald~ Mark: Our biggest complaint is MANY places PLUS at the majority of RV Parks - even at the factory CG when we were there for service - have no place to take shelter. Prayer power has been our main protection. We have been told that taking shelter in a Wal*Mart my be an option but I am not sure they would accept my dogs. So the bottom line - we watch the reports on TV and listen to our weather radio plus we look for low lying areas, but most of the time there is little we can do accept pray.
