HITCH LOCK VS WHEEL LOCK ????

RV News and Stories Hi! I just read the November edition of RV 101, and enjoyed it. I will go back and re-read some to the stuff later. I have a pop-up camper, and we enjoy going as much as we can. My question is, should I get a "lock" to prevent it from being taken when I am not around. I also know that there are several types of locks, such as a hitch lock and wheel locks. So which is the better ( for a pop up) security device? I am sure that pop-ups are not stolen very often, but you never know!! Looking forward to your comments.
Happy Camping!!--Well next year!!

RV News and Stories Hello, My name is Shirley....we have had our Bus for almost a year now...We are full timers.
I have a question....where does a person go to learn how to drive a motor home?
The place we bought it from doesn't train you to drive one, they only tell you how everything works and....off you go.
I wish that all dealers would offer road training...It makes no sense that I have to drive to the East coast in order to learn how to drive the bus I bought in Texas. Buy the time I get there I have already had road time and I am happy or.....like me....I am not happy at all.

RV News and Stories Mark,

We are so new to this area that we really don’t have any idea how to go about even getting started.

In about 2 years, I will be retiring, and our tentative plans are to purchase “something” either a 5th wheel, possible good used Class A or something like this.

Our intent is to probably live in it for about 6 month at a time.

Now, here is the little catch,,,,,,,, We are life long motorcycle riders, and have toured the United States on the back of our Harley Davidson (s).

With this in mind, our Harley Trike “will” be with us at all times when we are “on the road”

I guess what we are looking for is some good advice moving forward toward our goal.

Most of the 6 month on the road will be in Florida or Louisiana during the winter months. We are life long residents of Pennsylvania.

Thanks much for your professional response and thoughts.

Cinda and Gary Whistler
