What does RV orientation mean?

RV orientation is a commonly used term for an RV dealer's class given to the consumer after an RV is sold. The term RV orientation is used interchangeably with the term RV walk through.

Buying an RV is exciting and when you pick it up, the only thing on your mind is getting it home and planning that first exciting adventure. Yes, the dealer gave you a walk-through of the unit, but there was so much information and excitement that it was overwhelming. Now it’s in your driveway and you can’t remember everything that was covered. We understand that feeling and we have you covered.

It is our goal at RV Education 101 to assist you in learning how to properly and safely use and maintain your Recreation Vehicle. In this unique online membership program we put the RV dealer orientation (walk through) class into video format so you can watch it as many times as you like, or need, until you are comfortable using your new RV.

What kind of online training will I receive?

The RV Orientation video is 54 minutes long and is packed with great information. The easy to understand format uses charts and hands-on instruction to cover topics like campground setup, the LP gas system, water system, wastewater system, and the electrical system. In addition to the major systems of an RV the video includes instruction on RV appliances, RV accessories and much more. We even added a bonus chapter on RV safety features and some bloopers to make it more entertaining. The video is generic and covers all types of RV's including motorized and towable RV’s.

Note: The only exception would be a pop up. The video does not include setting up and taking down a pop-up. We have a specific training video available for pop up trailers.

In addition to the RV Orientation training video you also receive an 8 minute video presentation on Mark’s recommended “RV Essential Items.” This product review presentation informs you on what items you will need to purchase, in addition to your “RV starter kit” to make all of your RVing experiences more enjoyable. It doesn't stop there. You also have access to some great RV tips, RV articles and other bonus RV training material in this online training program.
