FREE DVD featuring the Alaska Marine Highway...

WANT A ROAD TRIP UNLIKE ANY OTHER?

Go See Alaska - and Travel a "Marine" Highway

Thousands of RVers are discovering a road adventure unlike any other - aboard an Alaska state ferry. You'll enjoy breathtaking views of the Last Frontier using a unique mode of travel when you drive your RV onto the Alaska Marine Highway.

...You'll be ready to pack your bags and come aboard when you watch "our FREE ALASKA DVD!"

The DVD will take you on an unforgettable journey through the pristine waters that surround Alaska. A place where you can see whales, sea lions and shorebirds in abundance. A place with so many icy-blue glaciers, many of them don't even have names. You'll hear from passengers, see our vessels and learn more about traveling on the Alaska Marine Highway, including information about various amenities and transporting your vehicles.

See More of Alaska When You Take the Ferry

The Alaska state ferry is a perfect way to travel across Alaska, because it allows visitors to get to communities that can only be accessed by air or water. There are areas of Alaska that you can't drive to, because there are no roads to get there. When you take the ferry, you won't have to miss out on exploring these areas, because we'll take you there! The best part is that you can leave the driving to someone else for a while as you travel on a "marine" highway. You'll be traveling along scenic coastal routes that total more than 3,000 miles. You'll love the relaxed and casual atmosphere. It's the truly Alaskan way to travel.

National Scenic Byway - the Only One of its Kind

The Alaska Marine Highway was designated as a National Scenic Byway, which means it has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Transportation for its archeological, cultural, historic, natural, recreational and/or scenic qualities. The most scenic roads among these are designated as "All-American Roads," which means they have unique features that can't be found anywhere else in the nation. This designation also means that these roads are scenic destinations in and of themselves. The Alaska Marine Highway is a designated "All-American Road" and is the only Byway of its kind.
