RV Education 101's new RV Seminar Series DVD library continues to expand; providing the RV consumer with training on all aspects of using and maintaining their RV. Expert Mark Polk demonstrates everything the RV consumer needs to know about their RV in an easy to understand video format.

Fayetteville, NC September 8, 2007 -- RV Education 101 introduces a comprehensive process to step-by-step RV learning through a new DVD seminar series. The two most recent DVD titles added to the RV seminar series, "RV Safety Features, Tips & Tricks" & "RV Awning Use, Care & Accessories", brings the company's training library to a total of fourteen RV instructional videos.

Mark and Dawn Polk wanted to make the process of educating RVers highly accessible through DVD and instant download training. Mark Polk, the owner, said, "Purchasing an RV is a major investment, similar to your automobile or home. To protect that investment and get many years of reliable service and use from your RV, there are certain measures you need to take. It can be hard for RV owner's to know exactly what to do or where to get correct information, so we produce the training DVD's."

RV Safety Features, Tips & Tricks When asked about the RV Safety DVD Polk said, "It is extremely important that the RV consumer understands all of the safety features on their RV, and how to properly use this safety equipment. The majority of RVers don't know that there are between 6,500 and 20,000 reported RV fires each year, and that an RV can burn completely to the ground in as little as six minutes! These same RVers need to know what type of fire extinguisher to use on what type of fire, and how to properly use a fire extinguisher?"

Another disturbing fact is that carbon monoxide is the number one cause of poisoning deaths in the United States each year. RVers, in particular, need to understand what the symptoms for carbon monoxide poisoning are, and what to do if somebody is exposed to it. Other important RV safety topics discussed in this video production include; LP gas, water & electrical system safety, RV emergency escape plans and RV emergency weather planning."

Dawn Polk, co-owner, stated the company decided to produce the "RV Awning Use, Care & Accessories title because of the overwhelming number of questions they receive concerning awnings on RV's. "Awning fabric and awning hardware can be costly to replace, but through routine care and proper use the awnings on your RV can last for many years. This DVD demonstrates some simple methods to properly clean, inspect and care for and use these awnings. As an added bonus we wanted to include a section demonstrating how easy it is to install a window awning for the do-it-yourselfer."
