I was recently privileged to preview Mark Polk's 'DEEP CYCLE BATTERIES DVD' - part of his New Seminar Series. This detailed complex presentation offers valuable info for both boaters and RVers alike no matter how much experience they have. Mark addresses numerous issues regarding batteries in this publication, more than I have ever seen anywhere. He does it in such a 'keep it simple' format..He easily explains the intricacies of each type of battery along with the ratings, uses, types, various sizes, preventive maintenance, plus he adds explicit instructions on how to connect multiple batteries in series and/or in parallel.
Other topics include cleaning terminals, the ins and outs of storage when the RV is not in use, charging, testing battery life, battery tips, plus overall general care. Since batteries are the costly 'heart' of our RV's - both the house portion and the engine (starting) batteries need care. Understanding your battery idiosyncrasies helps to extend their life for continual service. Let's face it, if our batteries don't work, our RV's simply don't function as they should. Replacement can be costly. The above points and so much more is covered in detail in this comprehensive DVD. Knowing how to care for your batteries is paramount. This seminar DVD is a must for all new and seasoned RVers.
A DVD in the RV Education 101 Seminar Series: A Comprehensive Process to Step-by-Step Learning Deep Cycle Battery Care and Maintenance for RV's and Boats Show me an RVer or boater who hasn't had problems with deep cycle batteries and I'll show you someone who hasn't been RVing or boating for very long. In most cases, problems related to deep cycle batteries are usually a result of not understanding what is involved to properly maintain and care for lead acid batteries.
