RV Emergency Radio Communication on the Road

As a licensed "Amateur" radio operator, (KD9IQ), I know that the FCC cannot/will not officially designate a channel for us. Perhaps we could select one), and when we are in need of assistance or notice an RVer who may be in need of assistance along the way, make contact on that channel. The FCC has set aside channel #9 as the designated "CB Emergency" channel, however it is not to be used for any other general conversations. On a recent three month long RV trip to Alaska there were numerous times I would have liked to alerted other RVers to various things along the road. Many RVers do not monitor channel 19 just due to the foul language and discussions that occur on that channel so frequently!
Just a seed for thought.
HAPPY CAMPING!

I think that would be terrific for all of us. We used channel 13 with our friends & came in handy when they had tire problems.
It would get the message out to someone who may be close by that can help in an emergency.
Also for the ones traveling by themselves might give some security.
